Today was a better day. I just had my quiz for bio and im pretty sure I failed. But that’s okay because I hate biology. But other than that Mr. Schick is not here today. We had to look on the Human Geography for everything we have to do today. As I was working there was this thing crawling on the wall!!! IT WAS A CENIPEDE! I was on the other side of the room in a flash! I REPEAT IN A FLASH. We ended up not killing it so It could be ANYWHERE!!! But in class we were told to take notes on anything important we saw in the passage we were told to read. These are my notes
1.     GLOBALIZATION is an increasingly important concept in geography because of globalization
2.     All scales from local to global are important in geography—the appropriate scale depends on the specific subject. Geography matters in the contemporary world because it can explain human actions at all scales, from local to global.
3.     The world contains only a handful of individuals who lead such isolated and sheltered lives that they have never watched a television set, used a telephone, or been in a motor vehicle. 
4.     Globalization means that the scale of the world is shrinking
5.     People are plugged into a global economy and culture, producing a world that is more uniform, integrated, and interdependent. 
6.     Even extremely isolated and sheltered people are at least aware of the existence of these important means of connection

Today coming into school was miserable! The only day it rains this week is the day I don’t have a jacket… just my like huh? But my sperry’s got wrecked and the schools TOO hot. Like before it was freeeeezing but now its way too hot. Why can I never just be comfortable in this school! But, Today in class I was preparing myself for a mental break down. We were having our quiz on world leaders and I studied so so so so hard but I wasn’t sure if I studied everything!!!! Going into the test I know the first two pages then it came the 3 rd and I had no idea what most of the were! And the last page was even worse because you could have the leaders be more than one question so I couldn’t do my elimination strategy. But I got through it so hopefully I do better than I thought and I don’t flunk.

Today in human geography it twas the most perfect temperature! I wasn’t too hot and I wasn’t too cold. I was just right. It was kind of like the three little bears. When I walked in My teacher Mr. Schick told me about a snow storm named Grayson. Different spelling but the same name as mine! And the storm is JUST LIKE ME! Just going around… ruining people’s lives. Yep sounds like me! But today in class after having a whole day to work on this “worlds leaders” project we got to notes on the extended information our teacher Mr. Schick found on his own. As we took some notes some of the leaders of these countries we learned about had very interesting background stories. Like the president of India was in one of the lowest groups in india. And another that was probably the weirdest was the france president who married his high school teacher!!! LIKE EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

As I walked into human geo I was extremely surprised that I wasn’t freezing. The other day I walked in and my soul was numb. But today was different. As I walked in I wasn’t even the slightest bit cold like I felt yesterday. But I was very pleased with the temperature that was in the school today! Today in human geo we were given a project that would be turned in on Friday. For the project, we have to research all of the countries given. In the beginning of the class it sounded like he wanted us to only do one or two countries! No! we had to do 15. And with these 15 countries we had to find the head of government, the name of country, the government type, and picture of a map! But it took me forever and I really hope we have a snow day tomorrow because I want to sleeeeeeeep!
